New volunteering opportunities... First Aid CourseVoluntary organisations are being offered spaces on a First Aid course being organised by Mark Hall and Netteswell CA. It takes place on 14th July from 11am - 4pm and costs £30 per person. St Clare Midnight Walk The St Clare Midnight Walk is taking place on Saturday 21st June and there are still places for volunteer marshals. Volunteers will be asked to help at the start and end of the walk, and along the way. The event promises to be great fun and a good night out! 10 Mile Race on Sunday 27th Harlow Running Club will be hosting their annual 10 Mile Race on Sunday 27th July, and extra volunteers to help out with the smooth running of the day would be most welcome. Helpers to hand out water at the drinks stations, assisting at the start of the race by registering runners, directing runners on the course and cheering them on are needed. The race will start and finish at Mark Hall Sportcentre and takes place during the morning. No previous experience is needed as volunteers will be supported by a club member. This opportunity will suit volunteers who are fairly fit, as quite a lot of standing is required, and the weather is usually quite hot, and who want to be part of the race, but don't fancy running in it themselves! Harlow Conservation Volunteers Harlow Conservation Volunteers welcome volunteers to join them on their alternate Sunday environmental projects throughout the year. Forthcoming activities include alder coppicing, pond clearing and installing way markers at various areas of natural interest around the town. This is an ideal opportunity for people to get outside and do something valuable and see the difference they've made at the end of the day as well as to discover wildlife areas around our town. No previous conservation knowledge is needed.

Charity Car Park The very successful Charity Car Park, that takes place at Harlow College every Saturday is now organised by Mark Hall & Netteswell CA.
